Supporting paragraph homework checked-turn in if absent

W1-How to write a compare/contrast essay-cnotes continued-class reviews-how to organize, thesis, hook, connector, whole intro, point-to-point organization several times, transitioning-two types and importance, conclusion. If absent for these notes, you can come to tutoring on Tues. or Thurs. to get them or copying the note portion only from a classmate. If you copy notes from a classmate, don't just copy them. Put them in your own words and make sure you understand what you are writing. Do Not Copy their Levels of Questions.

Groups write conclusion paragraph together. 5th block to do this during next class.

Each group member will turn in their own paper with the following: venn diagam, group intro (hook, connector, thesis), their own supporting paragraph, conclusion, peer editing of supporting paragraph, revised supporting paragraph-40 point participation assignment.

Essay due date for Our Mother's Garden and Straw Into Gold is coming the next class

All work from grading term 1 due 10/17 changed to 10/19 after this class.
If you didn't do your supporting paragraph for your group paper, you must have it in by the next class. Remember to talk to your group members and split the supporting paragraphs up, so that each of your points is covered. More than one person can write about the same point, but the are NOT to work in a group on this paragraph. The should do their OWN supporting paragraph.
