Peer Eval 1-5- min of one sentence response for each question
1. Did they use transitions?
2. Is it clear which show they are referring to at all times?
3. Did they elaborate/provide detail?
4. Did they stick to one point/topic?
5. Did grammar/spelling interfere with understanding (look for 10 writing problems discussed)?
Make sure each person who evaluates your paragraph puts their sentence response for each question they answer, their name and an overall rating for your paragraph.

-Must submit outline wksht and self editing rubric completely filled out by yourself. Remember to revise your paper after you've edited if you cannot give yourself 5's or 6's
-Must include 4 paragraphs )1 intro, 2 elaborate supporting, 1 conclusion
-Must be point-to-point organization
-Must be free of errors 1-10 on these notes
-Use the model essay given to you to assist you
-keep W1-Compare/Contrast notes and turn them in on 10/29 with the essay
ALL WORK for grading term 1 MUST BE SUBMITTED BY TODAY. Next week, students who turned in 75% of their work can complete grade recovery through tutoring by fixing any assignments they didn't do well on. If you didn't turn in 75% you cannot recover your grade.
